Welcome to the Marquette Builders Exchange's New Website!

The Marquette Builders Exchange will celebrate 60 years on April 28, 2010. The organization was founded in 1950 by a group of twenty men representing general contractors, sub-contractors and material suppliers. Their intent was to make blueprints and specifications for general construction more readily available in the Marquette area.

Today MBE has more than 300 members from all over the Upper Peninsula, Lower Michigan, Wisconsin and Minnesota. The organization is governed by a nine-member Board of Directors which meets monthly, and the Plan Room is staffed by a Secretary/Manager and Assistant Manager whose hours are 9:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M. Monday through Friday.

NEW - ONLINE PLANROOM:

Our new Online Planroom has been up and running since August 2009, and our Members are very pleased with it.  Please contact MBE for membership information or click on the "Join MBE" link. 

U.P. Builders Show:

The U.P. Builders Show is held in March of each year in Marquette, Michigan, at the Superior Dome on Northern Michigan University's Campus.  Members of the Marquette Builders Exchange are eligible for reduced rates on booths.
